Chico is a 13yr old Palomino gelding standing 14.3hh. He is a finished ranch horse and has been headed and heeled on out of the box extensively teaching kids how to rope. He is gentle and safe for anyone young or old to ride. Would be a perfect horse to teach a smaller lightweight child to ride on and baby set in my opinion. He is like any older horse that has been used hard and put up wet all their lives and will NOT be 100% sound. He does have arthritis in his front knees and requires injections and Provox or Bute to stay using sound.... (read more) he’s very easy to handle on the ground with perfect ground manners! He’s easy to tie, load/unload, clip, bath, groom and tack up. You won’t find a more perfect or better suited horse to teach those small little kids the ropes.
