Meet Designer Hero a registered 9 year old 16.3 hand registered Appaloosa gelding. Yes you read that correctly, this gelding stands a true 16.3 hands and is also big bodied. He has more body and bone than a lot of draft crosses on the market. He has APHC papers and he also has 19.5 APHC points. He was foaled April 1, 2015. He has a demeanor that’s second to none. He’s not only big and handsome, he’s also super safe and quiet. I know he’s big but he is a gentle giant and will take care of the youngest to the oldest riders. He is 100% beginner, kid, husband, grandma, grandpa safe. This gelding would also go right into work for any therapy and or lesson program tomorrow. I think he would also be a great addition to a vaulting program and even mounted patrol. Hero has been shown extensively and was just recently shown the end of April bringing home many blues and a champion. He was shown both western pleasure and HUS. This is a turnkey show horse but the best part about him is he doesn’t have to be a show horse and he’s happy doing other things besides showing. He is one of the first true show horses we’ve had that is a BOMBPROOF trail horse. He’ll ride out alone, go down the road and is rurally unphased by construction cones, barrels, cars, trucks, tractors, 4 wheelers, bicycles etc. I really don’t like to call a horse spook proof but I would feel ok saying he most certainly is. Hero rides the same way every time you swing your leg over whether he was ridden yesterday or 3 weeks ago. No lunging needed or warm ups, just tack up and ride off. He will also ride bareback in a halter and lead rope. Hero has the patience of a saint and tolerates a timid, floppy rider very well. His gaits are slow, smooth and push button. He knows his leads and is a finished horse. If you’re in the market for a total babysitter that’s push button and really fun to ride this is the horse for you. He requires no maintenance, tuning or training. This is a made horse you can go do whatever you want to go do with tomorrow. No vices at all, some of the best ground manners you could ask for and a very sweet in your pocket personality. Hero is up to date on everything and he is 100% sound with no maintenance what so ever.
