REHAB project, not currently sound
Golden Bird Forest. aka Dudley.
For those of you wanting an update… and ad.
He is a 4 year old, 17.1 hand bay ottb. Lancaster PA

Please read in entirety before messaging.

He came up lame about 11 weeks ago, and was out on stall rest. After stall rest, he was still lame. (right front) After vet came out this morning again and took x-rays again, we noticed he has the smallest hairline fracture in his leg..... (read more) doesn’t really affect into the lameness. We also discovered he has navicular. (main source of lameness, equioxx needed) He is getting/needs shoes with wedges and pads next week.
After dumping in thousands of dollars into him, attempting to “fix” said issues, i’ve decided it’s best to rehome him. Someone who is willing to put the time,money, and effort into him.
He has a great foundation, and rides very well.
Dudley is super safe and willing. I have had toddlers lead him, and he doesn’t do a darn thing.
Great dressage prospect, therapy horse, flat, or even a pasture puff.
I know I will never get back what I put into him..
I am asking 1,???.
I am attempting to do what is best for him, and at the moment, my current situation is not it.
