Jesse is a 9 year old Percheron/Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.2 hands high. Jesse is a sturdy guy that takes up any sized riders leg. He’s a trail master out of the ring, LOVES to go cross country, and has a great start in the dressage arena too.... (read more) He is the type you can do a bit of everything with and always have a good time. We think Jesse would make a great hunt horse, but with his great brain, athleticism, and willingness to please, he can be successful in any discipline!

In the ring, Jesse is working on schooling first level dressage tests. He will go in a frame or on a loose rein, and knows basic lateral work. He has a fantastic canter, and has great transitions. Though he can take a joke and is tolerant of rider mistakes, he does best with a rider who can balance themselves as he is responsive to leg aids. Jesse will jump a course in the ring and loves to jump!

Out of the arena, Jesse has most of his miles. He loves going on hunter paces and trail rides, and is a blast cross country. He has schooled up to novice and is brave, honest, and scopey! On the trails, Jesse is in his happy place. He will ride alone or in a group, and will lead, follow, or go in the middle of the pack.

In the barn, Jesse is respectful and quiet. He loves to form a bond with his person, and enjoys to bond through groundwork and grooming. Jesse is happy living inside or out, and is turned out in a mixed herd of mares and geldings. Jesse is easy to load, he is well behaved on the trailer, and stands politely when tied.

Jesse is a fun, athletic, and versatile horse that can be successful in any direction. He is the type of horse that thrives on a relationship, and will go to the ends of the earth for his person. He has no limitations, vices, and is the easiest of keepers. Jesse is barefoot with great feet. Jesse is currently schooled 3 days a week and trail ridden the rest.
