Meet sly! Sly is a 14 yo (unraced) thoroughbred looking for a rider to spend time with him a few days a week! Sly is as perfect as they come, he is by far my safest mount and is proving himself to be a seasoned show horse early into the season. He teaches every level rider from dead beginner to advanced, and does it happily. He is more woah than go, but will stay in front of your leg if he realizes his rider knows what they’re asking for!... (read more) They really don’t get more perfect than him. He spent many years as a h/j, so he rarely puts a foot out of place. Ideally, I’d like to find a rider that is interested in competing him in dressage, whether you’ve never competed before or looking to get back into it! Sly is limited to small cross rails at this time, so would be good for someone who likes to pop over the occasional jump in a lesson, or wants to hone in on their flatting skills. All leases require a weekly lesson; and include 2 individual rides. Half lease is $400/month and half of his farrier bill ($80 every 6 weeks) our property boasts a gorgeous indoor, outdoor, round pen, and backs up to the power lines for trail riding. His current leaser is off to basic training so don’t miss this opportunity, he won’t be available long!
