5 year old welsh gelding standing right at 11hands. He is barefoot and 100% sound and up to date on everything. Squirt is easy to handle on the ground, greets you at the gate & loves to come out to be groomed & loved on! He stands quietly tied, clips, bathes, loads, and is good for the vet/farrier. Safe enough for a kid to get from the pasture & handle easily. He will do anything asked of him and picks up both leads easily.... (read more) He has a comfortable canter for such a small guy. He has a natural lead change that will be very easy to finish. He jumps a small course and is honest to a fence.
He is also broke to drive. Squirt stands quietly to be hitched, he knows his job & does it well! Loves to trail ride & will go out alone or in company. Squirt crosses water, doesn't mind traffic, or bridges, and is used to dogs/goats. Never thrown a buck and no nastiness about him. He can be a little quick at times so needs a rider that can regulate speed but if you ask he will listen. Squirt would make a lovely pony hunter prospect & is eligible green! Ready to join your show barn or lesson program! Don't miss out on this cutie!
Best suited for an advanced beginner or better! If your kid can ride they will have a blast on this guy! We just don't have any riders small enough for him here!
