We purchased Timothy is a grade quarter horse from an auction in September’23. He came up lame the very day that we brought him home. He’s been on stall rest with some limited turn out for 6+ months now. I’m hoping to find someone who is willing and able to give him the best shot at recovering. We’ve had Cleveland Equine out twice. I’ll include the work up and plan with the pictures.... (read more) The injections and shockwave treatments will be about two k per the doc with no guarantees. Tim is currently walking sound, but quite off at the jog. He’s broke, although we never got to ride him and he has the sweetest personality. He’s handled being on stall rest (with trazadone) like a champ. He loaded right on the trailer (didn’t want to back off though ?) , he’s not buddy sour. It really sucks, because I think he’d be an amazing partner on the trail, in the show ring, maybe even working cows. He’s also gorgeous with lots of beautiful hair! I’ll keep him if I need to. It’s just been a lot with 4 kids, 2 other horses, and a herd of cows to take care of and budget for. Ask me anything, I just want him to be loved and well cared for. I will ask a rehoming fee and check references.
