Remarkably Ready has been friendly , quick, athletic and sound from the start. He was l7 days late, and ready to share mom's grain day two! I pulled hair for color testing right away , because solid appaloosas can have hidden genetic gifts. Ready is homozygous for black and for leopard pattern, but it does not show because he lacks the LP gene.
