Taffy is an 11 year old gorgeous chocolate palomino gelding standing 15.1 hh and very nicely built. This horse is a looker and turns heads everywhere he goes. Taffy is sweet and friendly, and about as good a trail horse as there has ever been. He is sure footed as a mountain goat, travels out and can really cover some ground, and will go up, over or though anything you point him at. Taffy has been on many long trail rides through every terrain you can imagine, has been ridden down the road and in traffic, and will ride off just as well by himself as he will with other horses.... (read more) He has also been used on the ranch to check fences, push cattle, and pony colts. Taffy will trot and lope circles in the arena or out in the pasture, is good on both leads, and will work a gate. He has an excellent handle, crosses water with no problems, and isn’t spooky. Taffy has excellent ground manners and will come to a whistle, and he absolutely loves attention. He is easy to catch, stands quietly tied, is perfect for the shoer, and gets along great in a herd.
