This is Knight. He’s a 6 year old approximately 15.2 hand grade gelding. We have owned him for almost 8 months and he’s just proving to be too much horse for my daughter who is a novice rider. He’s got a good brain, he just needs more miles with a confident rider. He would thrive in a more consistent program. He’s good for the vet and farrier. He ties. We’re working on loading and he’s making good progress.... (read more) He’s a versatile guy who has been ridden w/t/c both English and Western. I think he could be a beautiful Dressage partner. He is very good at home, but he needs more experiences off property with an experienced rider to be the whole package.
Up to date on vaccines and Coggins
Wears front shoes while in regular work. He was barefoot all winter man.
He’s been stalled and lived out 24/7.
He maintains his physique on 1 lb of Gro N’ Win per day.
Knight likes to have a job. He seeks out human interaction/attention and I just don’t have the time for him. He’s a horse that needs consistency. He’s coming off of a 30 day refresher with a trainer. I’ll be doing my best to keep up his progress.
