Reformation (Reffy) is a 19 years young OTTB available for and on farm half lease beginning July 1st.
Originally an $800,000 yearling, adopted for one dollar from Midatlantic Horse Rescue, Reffy has proven his weight in gold. Currently schooling 1st level + dressage and has competed to schooling Novice eventing. He LOVES cross country and gallops with freight train noises. Reffy has a ton of show experience and miles under his belt, including jumpers and gymkhana.... (read more) He has remained in consistent work throughout his career and can currently jump up to 2’6” with an experienced rider.
Reffy would be perfect for a gutsy intermediate kid or an adult amateur with a solid dressage background looking for a been there done that horse that isn’t a dead head. Reffy hacks out alone or with a group, through water, over bridges, etc. Trailers well and is great for the vet and farrier.
Reffy is boarded at Sky View Farms in Saylorsburg, PA. The property boasts an indoor and spacious outdoor arena with a huge rideable grassy ex-airstrip and plenty of trails.
Lessons with our on-site trainer highly encouraged, showing can be negotiated.
Half lease will cover half board and every other farrier appointment.
