Renata is an approximately 5-6yr old 14.3 hand mustang mare. She is broke to ride , will walk, trot, canter, back up and is learning to turn on the hind end. Her down side is that she is still skittish. When she gets scared she doesn’t buck or rear but just wants to get away. She doesn’t fully bolt anymore but she will still jump to the side and get frazzled. I’ve realized I don’t have the time to ride her consistently to get her past it all since I only have time to work with her about once a month.... (read more) She is otherwise sweet and very food motivated! She is dominant in a group setting and is currently housed with a goat and two cows and does good with them. A little hesitant but with treats and going slow she is good for farrier and vet. I haven’t loaded her on a trailer since I got her but she loaded then within 5 minutes with some food involved. She has great confirmation for a mustang and solid feet. She is currently kept barefoot.
