Meet Sierra Chexx “Rosie” a 13 year old AQHA mare, she is 15 hands.
She’s got excellent ground manners, she is friendly, and a quiet ride. Rosie has been in a lesson program for the last few years but she’s now looking for her very own person who is a confident rider dedicated to bringing out her best self.
Rosie has all the buttons for a rider who knows how to ask for them.... (read more) She walks, trots, and lopes both directions with smooth transitions. Moves off your legs and has a strong stop. She does require a bit of a stronger leg as she’s more woah then go and would thrive with an intermediate rider or someone working with a trainer. She’s been out on trails, crosses water, ropes, and handles just about any situation you can throw at her. Her previous career was in a stockyard sorting cattle.
