Gurtrude Is NOT a kids project, she needs someone who understand how to work with horses with trauma. We believe shes around 10-12 but were unsure as the people we bought her from were very sketchy and untruthful with us. She was once used to work cattle on a farm in Georgia, and we believe she wasn't treated the best during her time there. I've tried all I know to try with her and we've made little to no progress, she has been started on a barrel pattern and has been to several rodeos, but she would do best in any ranch work or even timed speed events.... (read more) If fast is what your looking for she's got it. She's been ridden in both English and Western, she has nice flowy gates and is honestly a joy to work with when she wants to work, she would do best by herself as when she's around other horses she gets HIGHLY buddy sour, and just wants to be left alone. She's not aggressive towards other horses or people most of the time, she just has a big attitude and will make that known, but she's one of the most personable and loving horses I've worked with. She just doesn't trust people. She can be rode but lately its been a pain to get her to do anything, she's known to rear and crow-hop but she never has the intention to hurt you or is out of aggressive, it's more of she's just acting out because she knows in the end she'll get her way and not have to work.
