Very well trained, old mare. I was told Amish trained and I have no doubt it is true.
She has always been an easy keeper, but this excessively hot August, I have had to supplement her feed with a little grain and electrolytes. I imagine that in January, or the coldest month, she would do better in a barn.
She rides well no matter how long it has been, but can be slightly nervous when taken out the first time in a year. She is just very normal, but trustworthy for an animal.... (read more)

She will make someone a nice riding partner. She would be lovely as a therapy horse.

Jingles is quiet on the trail and at home. I trust her with my grandkid's to walk around her and even my puppies that get under her feet now and then. Most of my grandkids have ridden her even the babies with their parents. She is a wonderful size - right about 13+hh

Jingles will babysit foals and is good with equine and other livestock. My sheep love her. She does well on pasture and also with alfalfa, or rye grass, or coastal hay and has been an easy keeper.
Please do not contact me if you are just looking for a cheap horse for your kid. I don't want to waste your time or my time. I will be particular where she goes. I already have hay for her for this winter, so no rush.
