Red is a drop dead gorgeous chestnut morgan gelding who has done everything from trail riding to 4H & equestrian team. He is 13 years old and stands a handsome 15.3hh tall, turning heads wherever he goes. Overall he is your safe, been there done that horse who is happy to please his human. He has excellent ground manners and stands great for the farrier, as well as to be groomed, saddled & mounted. Red is a very easy going horse, uncomplicated to ride and extremely tolerant of the inexperienced rider.... (read more) He has been ridden & shown English, western, bareback and double. He has a quiet walk, a steady trot and a rhythmic uphill canter. He knows both leads, has excellent breaks and can be ridden on a loose rein or with contact. He has a beautiful headset and will collect up and carry himself nicely in frame. Red has been extensively trail ridden, arena ridden, road ridden & river ridden by riders of all experience levels. He has been exposed to everything from loud traffic, dogs barking, groups of bicyclists, kayakers in the river to water, bridges & tunnels. He will easily hop in & out of the trailer & hauls with ease. Red has a very willing, can-do attitude, happy to lead a group of horses, hang out on the back or ride out alone.
