Flynn has been with us since he was 6 months and has been a pleasure to raise. We have done all the ground work with him and he had 4 months of professional training from Mountain Lane Farm last fall. He is my go to horse for longer trail rides because he is so comfortable not bumpy at all! He has been on 50 or so trail rides really not afraid of too much more curious. He is good in the ring but we still consider him green. We know he can jump over 4 ft high because he has jumped a few pasture fences for the fun of it however we have not jumped him under saddle because we wanted to wait until he was older.... (read more) He is taller than we expected just about 15 hands and he is still growing. He is eager to please and he would like to be with his person all the time always first at the gate. Why sell? I wanted a trail horse and my daughter wanted to show him english initially that is why we raised him however my daughter is wrapped up in her current horse and has decided not to move over to him. I am older and I need something shorter for the trails. Currently we are just struggling to see how he is going to fit for our family long term. We love him but he isn't going to get the partnership he deserves with us so we are seeing if he can be a fit for someone else.

Flynn does need an intermediate rider someone with confidence, he is intelligent and he can be pushy. He does get a little head tossy if he isn't worked multiple days a week, and he wants to be busy doing something. He doesn't get a very thick winter coat so we do blanket him starting in January thru March for the colder months.

Up to date on vaccines and coggins as of 6/19/24. He sees the farrier every 6 weeks and is barefoot. We use boots for the trail but he did have front shoes at Mountain Lane when he was in training 6 days a week. Well behaved for vet, farrier and trailers with ease.

No rush to sell but if the right person comes along I can be flexible with the price for a loving home. In the pictures my 14 year old daughter is riding him. She takes him all over the place.
