Nikita came to our family primarily to be ridden by our kids. She is a calm and independant mare and had a gorgeous filly (Pine Valley Drifter's Legacy) by Prairie Thunder Drifter in June 2019. Nikita's sire is Pleasure of Mine and her maternal grandsire is Dublin.

​Nikita is in the lowest pecking order order of the herd and is a very easy keeper. She is ridden every 2 days in summer when weather permits by all of our 4 children and this is her favourite job by far.... (read more) She was also trained to drive in January 2020 by Team Hug and is safe in a team. 

​Nikita is the perfect mare for the occasionnal rider because she can sit for weeks (or even months) and will be in the exact same spot in her training after a break. We purchased her in 2018 and she never had any health issues and is up to date on all normal care. We rarely sell trained horses but hard choices have to be made so is available for 15 000$ USD.

Les Élevages Marka is a gypsy breeding program located in Québec, Canada, only 30 minutes from the Vermont border. We have 1 amazing palomino stallion (Chief Cochese The Bard of Avon) and 4 mares that all have excellent conformation and great temperament. We raise 2-3 foals a year and make sure they are all handled every day and receive the best care possible. They all live outside and are on pasture all summer long....
