“Echo”
2018 Model
11.3hh
Palomino Gelding
The ONE everyone has been waiting for. “Echo” has been in our training program for 11 months so he has a very long resume. He is the ultimate pony that you don’t want to miss out on.
We have used this guy for literally everything. He has been hog hunting in the middle of the night with guns shooting, dogs running all by him, and only a headlamp for guidance.... (read more) During this time he’s traveled through grass/thicket twice the size of him, specifically our feet out of the stirrups on his neck having him push through with no hesitation. This little pony has been used! He has been hauled all over Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana; chances are if we are somewhere, he is on our trailer. “Echo” is used on a daily basis riding through the woods with fresh colts. He’s not shy to play pick up man or snub to one in a bind. As well as showing colts it’s not so scary to cross through water, over logs, and much more. He sure is handy.
Here is the fun part; “Echo” has been roping live steers on both the head and heel side. He is small, but mighty! Depending on the speed of the steers, nine times out of ten he is going to get you there and give you your shot. He’s a pro at tracking the smarty and would be great at teaching a youngster the fundamentals of roping. We occasionally put an 11 year old beginner on him and he takes care of her extremely well. We also put adult beginners on him all the time with no issues. “Echo” has never offered to buck, kick, bite, kick, or rear. He will be the same pony with time off. He is not your typical pony, he will not do anything evil! You can ride him bareback in a halter or just a regular snaffle, you could do a backflip off of him and it will not faze him.
“Echo” is the first one to the gate and is really easy to catch, groom, saddle, bathe, and load/unload. He has been adjusted twice with us, just because he is such a hard working pony we want to make sure he is maintained accordingly. He just had his teeth floated a few months ago and is current on his trimming. He is barefoot with strong black hooves. “Echo” is 100% SOUND. He’s turned out on 100 acres and his diet consists of grass, he is a very easy keeper. We have stalled him and he’s just fine with that life too. There’s not one thing you could ask of this pony that he will refuse. He is one in a million.
Goes as grade with current coggins.
