MONGO
“Mongolian Legend” aka Mongo is an 8 year old, Kentucky bred Thoroughbred gelding registered with the Jockey Club, by Mucho Macho Man out of Heckuva Good Time by Afternoon Deelites. He has won well over $130,000 on the track with 34 starts, 3 firsts, 7 seconds and 5 thirds. All his documentation is in a folder and ready to go! He is up to date on farrier work, vaccinations, dewormer and coggins. He will be sold as a “war horse” and was retired from racing due to his age.... (read more) He is a kind horse with a good mind, perfect legs and a nice forward gait.
He currently is being shod by a corrective shoer, as the racetrack took his heels too far down and he came up lame on the trailer ride from Del Mar to Texas. This is a minor issue that we expect will fix itself as his hoof continues to grow. He is fun and rides like a forward, English horse! I’d like to see him go to a home where he is spoiled and given patient training into a new discipline. He has a heart of gold and deserves the best!
