Duncan
This is Mr. “Duncan”. He is a 12-year-old gelding who stands 14.2. he is grade (unregistered)
I have personally ridden Duncan quite a few times now, a couple times to town so far, on a few trails, at an arena, in alleys and will continue to take him places including a 4th of July parade! Duncan is a gentleman and a pleasure to ride for SURE! He is calm beside the busy highways, on city streets with lots of traffic, at city parks with lots of kids running around, while at the park one day one of our local Cherokee county officers got her picture with Mr.... (read more) Duncan and had never pet a horse before! :D I have ridden him bareback with just a rope around his neck, in the open without anything in-between us and the highway, he works off your legs nicely, neck reins, is easy to catch anywhere, loads himself, great for the farrier, just a wonderful joy to ride and be around! He has been hauled miles and ridden extensively on trails, in parades, pushing cattle, ridden by beginners and he will just follow along with the other horses if someone isn't directing him which makes him perfect for someone wanting a follow trail horse while a novice learns and builds their confidence! He will pick it up when you push him but he is definitely more whoa then go and doesn't get in a hurry unless you ask him to! No spook, bolt or crazy, he is sound and sane and a true love bug! He isn't ugly or mean to the other horses and he is currently pastured with our two old bull baby and can run with cattle no problem, I am working on editing video's and getting them on YouTube and will attach the video links in his ad once they are finished life is so busy and we have 2 young children so sometimes it takes me a bit to get the videos attached. If you are seeing Duncan and there isn't a video link TEXT or CALL (No emails) me for the videos I have on my phone I also have saddles, and tack for sale and happy to help fit you with a good saddle that not only fits the rider well but the horse as well.
We take the information given from their current owners who have them consigned here with us, but we also personally put them to the test in as many situations as we can to ensure we are able to match them with their perfect new forever home!

We take each horse to our personal vet for a health exam and to verify their ages (if they aren’t registered) to ensure they are healthy and the correct age before selling them.
We also get a recent Coggins test (if theirs is older than 90 days), their vaccines and their teeth floated if they are due.
Additional vet checks or exams are welcome at the buyer’s expense.
Each horse comes with their own personal folder with their records as well!

I specialize in mostly ranch raised super gentle, dog like, family, grandma, beginner, ride them anywhere type horses and with suiting and pre-matching/pairing multiple horses for families, where the horses are already acquainted and are suited well to ride and live together! Have similar speeds when riding together, they like each other, don’t bite, or kick each other etc.

I have many more scars and have broken or fractured every limb at least once, broken ribs, dislocations, concussions, tailbone broken multiple times, back and neck injuries that are still with me and cause me a lot of pain to this day. Starting out my parents did the best they knew to do and believed people when they claimed the horses were safe for me, we didn’t have a lot of money and they didn’t have the years of experience needed to know the difference or what to look for that truly makes a good “Safe Family Horse” My goal is ALWAYS to match the right horse or horses with the right level of rider, to ensure the horses have good forever homes and my buyers are extremely happy and are as equipped as possible with everything they and their horse needs for their forever success and happiness with their new family! I sell multiple horses to families that I pair or fit together who ride well together, get along with each other etc. I also sale saddles and the tack you’ll need that will properly fit you and your horse, if you don’t have it so you are 100% ready to go ride once you get them home! If you have found a horse for sale with someone else that you like but are unsure if it will actually be a good match for you, I will personally travel to look at and ride the horse for you after getting to know you and will let you know if it will be a good match. I want to see people enjoy good horses and if I can help prevent a bad situation by providing advice, I am happy to help! Just because someone has been riding all their life or has been selling horses, has a horse for sale they have had for a while doesn’t technically qualify them to know if that horse is truly a beginner safe or family safe type horse. As previously mentioned, it takes years to be able to identify things and can be extremely dangerous to purchase from someone who isn’t a trained professional in the specific type of horse you are looking for! It is especially important that you are experienced and know what to look for or that you purchase from someone experienced, reputable and honest because one bad horse could cost you more than you ever want to imagine. Be cautious in your search and please do not hesitate to call or text me if there is anything I can help you with. EVEN, if that means that you don’t purchase a horse from me! I mean that genuinely! Most of my customers are complete beginners and the majority are over the age of 65 and quite a few have even become close friends, a few of them even insist on being bonus grandparents to my young children, which I LOVE!
