Fellow is a super handsome 5yo gelding, standing at an uphill 16.3 hands. He is going w/t/c, gets both leads, understands contact, and is learning the consistency of it. Very comfortable and (can be) super soft. Gosh, his canter is to die for! Has some lateral work, and a good simple change. Cantering poles, and bravely trotting in cantering out of small jumps. Fellow is 5 and will occasionally remind you of this, meaning he has his baby moments and the quirks that come along with them. He truthfully prefers to be relaxed, but sometimes just doesn't know how (and honestly, can't we all relate to that??) He does have a buck but will absolutely tell you before he even gets there (i.e., stress because everyone's running in turnout and he's not). He's not nasty or dirty; he's just figuring out life and his job. This being said, he needs a soft but firm rider who is understanding of young, sometimes fresh horses.

You should have a sense of humor because he sure does. This guy has one of the funniest (weirdest?), but loveable personalities out of all the horses I've worked with. He is super playful and super cuddly. He absolutely LOVES love (hell yeah, dude), and wants to be your best friend. This horse invented the phrase "in your pocket personality" and was perhaps in another life a big red dog instead of a big red horse.

No vices. No limitations. No known track injuries, bows, etc. Some mild maintenance within reason for a big guy with a racing career. Decent ground manners. Stands okay for the vet and farrier. We all know patience can be hard?. Actually a pretty easy keeper, no grain currently. UTD on everything and ready to go!

It's been a tough decision, but life situation forces sale. Very negotiable to get him in the perfect hands! Located in Santa Fe, NM. No trials, sorry. If there's anything I didn't cover - let's talk!
