Devils War cat
”Cat” is a 14.2hh 5 year old appendix mare. Out of a thoroughbred mare by the AQHA stud Squallin cat. Her momma was a super athletic mare. Her sire was truly a one of a kind stud. Cow work, barrels, roping, mounted shooting. You name it he could do it and do it well.
Cat is a beautifully put together mare. Athletic and talented. No maintenance. Teeth done every six months. Monthly chiro. She thrives in consistent work.... (read more) She absolutely loves cows. Great outside. Been trail ridden. Gone through water, over bridges etc. cat stands tied great. Loads and travels well. Adjust great to new environments. Nit a hard keeper. Super neat in her stall but prefers to live outside. She’s been started on barrels and poles. Had a rope swung off of her. Tracked cows etc. hauled out and rode in many new places with no problem. Super soft in the mouth. Great stop. Moves off your leg. Started lateral work. She is NOT for a beginner. She needs a partner that will bring her to her full potential. Not dangerous at all but she can be excitable and doesn’t enjoy beginner riders giving her mixed signals. She is offered only to the perfect home. If she doesn’t sell she will stay with me and continue her training. Just feel like she’d be happier with someone who has time to get her finished up and running. Located in Canby Oregon.
