Lunar Eclipse (Ellie for short!) is a unique, friendly mustang. We originally got her as a starter horse for trail riding, but our interests went elsewhere. She's extremely friendly and protective, but can be a bit barn sour. She does fine work in the round pen and leads and loads without hesitation. She also stands without sedation for the farrier. I've never had to take her to the vet for anything and her feet barely need attention, perhaps twice a year for a regular trimming when the weather changes. She's very low maintenance and visually stunning to watch.
