WOW! What a pretty color! Hershy's Poncho is a 6 year old Percheron X Quarter horse gelding. He is a pretty horse that checks all the boxes. Poncho has been used here on our farm to give rides for the past 2 years. He loves kids and attention so he is in our petting area as well part of the time. Poncho has been trail ridden a lot and can be ridden by riders with any level of experience. He loves going through water and doesn't mind stepping over logs along the trail.... (read more) Poncho also drives single or double and has been ridden out on the road a lot and doesn't mind the traffic. He has been in parades and doesn't mind a lot of action. While riding he picks up both of his leads. And he can also be ridden bareback and english as well as western. Here is a horse that doesn't need to be used everyday to stay the same. He is totally kid and beginner safe. Poncho stands nice for the farrier and doesn't need stocks to be shod. He also stands nice to tack up and to hitch to the cart. He is always aiming to please and is an absolute sweetheart in the barn.
