Nothing like a horse with a good bloodline, a good temperament, and a good solid foundation. Ringo has all of that. He is a 3 years old, 15 hh, bay roan, Hancock-bred, which is a breed known for its big, stout conformations, grittiness, and cow sense. His bloodline traces back to Driftwood, King P234, and Leo, all of which are AQH Hall of Fame. We have built a solid foundation underneath him using the Downunder Horsemanship (DUH) method (aka Clinton Anderson method).... (read more) Great ground manners as well as under saddle. He walks, trots, lopes, and gallops nice and relax. He neck reins and sidepass. Bombproof, no buck, bolt or rear. Great breaks and easy keeper. Balanced go and whoa. Loads on trailers easily, bathes and stands for Farrier/Vet. UTD on vaccines, Coggins, teeth floating, and regular farrier work every 6 – 8 weeks. He has been to mountain trails, water ponds, bridges, railroads, around steers, horse shows, and out in the streets. We train him to be a roper, and he is willing to go the direction you are interested in, roping, western pleasure, trail ride, timed events, or mounted shooting. He is well maintained, and has many miles under his feet. We ride/train him every day, indoor arena or outside in the pasture, and we hope he finds a good home.
