Fabio is a 6 year old registered Gypsy gelding. We have owned Fabio for about 3 years and have done a lot on him! He has been trail ridden all over NC as well as Oklahoma and Texas. He crosses water, logs, brush and whatever else is in his path with pure confidence and ease. Out on the trails he puts his head down and looks where he is going and is always sure footed. He doesn’t get excited if another horse takes off on their own path and continues on about his business.... (read more) Fabio does not get buddy or barn sour in anyway. We have ridden him through town and even taken him to a few barrel races and also ropings to see all the sights and noises.
He is perfectly fine to saddle up and take away from the barn and have no worries.
Fabio would be an exceptional show horse to take to the Gypsy shows. He lopes nice circles both directions, with a great extended trot and slow jog. He has a huge stop with just the word whoa! He side passes both directions and counter arches as well. Unlike a lot of Gypsy’s he has a ton of athletic ability!
Fabio is great in a stall or turned out with other geldings. He is an extremely easy keeper. If kept in a stall he keeps it nice and neat and is very mannerly and quiet. He will stand tied all day long and never paw or make a noise. He loads on and backs off the horse trailer easily. He stands to be bathed and clipped as well. He stands quietly to be shod and when taken to the vet.
Fabio is 100% sound.
