Ember is a 13y/o, 15.3hh black Percheron Qh or Morgan X mare. She does have a brand & is currently shod on the fronts. Ember has a nice athletic build but also has a solid & sturdy bone structure that allows her to carry larger riders. She has a friendly personality & enjoys getting attention. She is easy to catch, gets along well in a mixed herd, & is an easy keeper. You can mount her from anything, & she stands to bathe, groom, bridle, tack, hitch, ties, loads, & lifts her feet easily.... (read more) Ember is broke to drive single & double. While she's quiet enough for a beginner, she wouldn't be suitable at this time for commercial carriage work. The only reason is that she doesn't like to stand under harness for long periods of time. She will happily trot you into town & will cover miles or walk along at a slower pace. Under saddle, she will w/t/c. She is athletic & has some giddy up when asked. Although she's not too forward, we'd recommend a confident beginner & up due to that & for no other reason. (No bar habits under saddle.) Ember will move off leg, pick up her leads, & has a nice stop. She's also done some previous jumping & could easily continue with it! She moves around the ring nicely as well! Ember is great to take out on trails, camping, or to haul to new locations. She is not spooky or fussy. She travels wherever you point her & covers all types of terrain whether it's steep, rough, rocky, etc..! Ember can go from taking a swim, blazing trails in the woods, or walking into town with chaos surrounding her. She doesn't notice traffic whizzing by, cars honking, or someone running the weed whacker beside her. Ember is always on her best behavior when meeting new folks. She is such a smart, fun, gentle, & sweet girl! Ember would be suitable for so many things such as lessons, shows, fox hunts, jumping, camping, parades, & much more! She has the potential to go in other directions as well! Ember would love to meet you!?
She comes UTD on wormer, trim, coggins, vaccines, dental float, & vet check. She is currently shod on the fronts.
