Meet Amy!
Amy is a gorgeous, kind and gentle bay Standardbred mare.

15 years old - foaled 2008
15.2 hands

Her history:
Early life was harness racer
Amish buggy horse for 10 years.
Found in kill pen at an auction.
Rehabbed back to health

Amy is forward thinking and moving, and will be an amazing trail horse.

Not suitable for jumping, endurance or speed events/games…

Excellent ground manners.... (read more) Great for vet and farrier, (is barefoot) and loads like a dream. Trailers quietly.
Good for bathing and quiet in cross ties.

Amy is an easy keeper. No maintenance, and does well on full pasture all

Amy has had about 40 rides (both English and western).
She steps out nicely. As with all former harness Standies, she still needs to work on strength and balance under saddle. That will come with more riding and muscle development.

Amy is currently stalled at night, but has also lived outside 24/7 with lean to shelters.

Amy is low in the herd and often keeps to herself. She tends to buddy up with geldings over mares.

Amy is not mareish at all, she is the same horse every day.

Amy is friendly and quiet, will bond and enjoy having her own person.

This mare is a rare gem!
