2006 Welsh Pony Gelding , Flea bitten Gray in color.
Barn name is Oz.
This little guy is sweet as pie, and won’t hurt a fly! He originated from the east coast that we are aware of, and he is well traveled. He has been in NJ, PA and NY.
Stands 13.3H and has been used as a kids lesson horse for the past few years. Walk trot with the little tots, and will walk trot canter with a strong rider. Does cross rails, trails and lunges very well.... (read more)

Why the term “project pony “ in the title.. good question- he has some bad habits from being a lesson pony for many years. Nothing terrible, but just testy/ wants to be lazy. His quirks seem like things that would have possibly gotten him out of working back in the day. But I ride him as an adult rider and I can handle him. I can see him pulling those tricks on some kids who aren’t very strong riders though.

Not much phases him. He’s low man on the totem pole- he needs to be stalled or pastured separately so that he gets enough food. He is easily bullied by more dominant horses.

Eats unlimited hay and 1 quart molasses free senior grain x2 a day.

He has a lot of life left in him! Tune him up and he will make a great addition to any program!
