***SALE PENDING***Chariot is a beautiful, affectionate, well-trained, and smooth gaited TWH/KMH mare. Chariot is a very experienced trail horse with the sweetest personality. She’s the type of horse who follows you around looking for some scratches or attention. She aims to please, so she is easy to work with and super-fun to ride. Chariot goes wherever she is pointed and rides out in a calm, collected manner whether alone or with other horses.... (read more) She rides very relaxed with her head down. She's been ridden extensively in various regions of the country. Chariot has a wonderful, natural 4-beat gait and is very smooth!
Chariot walks up to the mounting block and knows exactly where to stop and wait while you get on. She won’t move an inch as you prepare to ride. She moves out when you are ready and simply pick up the reins. Chariot neck reins, so you can ride her with one hand. She has no problem crossing creeks and bridges and is generally very willing. She stops with very little pressure. She goes at your speed and is safe for virtually any rider. Beginners will have a wonderful experience with Chariot, and advanced riders will appreciate how fun, easy, and smooth she is to ride.
In addition to all her riding experience, Chariot has had extensive groundwork training that is ongoing. She’s got wonderful ground manners and is easy to teach. Chariot stands at 15.1 without shoes, has good, solid hooves and is currently barefoot. She is accustomed to riding with boots, as needed. She's a very easy keeper. At just 10 years of age, she’s got enough experience to be reliable yet young enough to give you many years of enjoyment. A horse like Chariot is hard to find!
Below are some of Chariot’s groundwork proficiencies:
