We are looking for a new home for our horse Ben. He is very curious and sweet, and would make a great horse to keep you or your other horses company. Ben developed navicular bone disease (disease of the front feet) which means that he cannot be ridden anymore. Equioxx or other similar pain reliever keeps him more painfree and capable of going about his daily horsey activities.

He is nine years old and very affectionate, likes attention, and he will come to you when he sees you.... (read more) He is great for grooming, just standing still and patently until you're done. He loves treats and carrots (maybe addicted to sugar so better to avoid sweet treats).

We do not have the space to keep an unrideable horse, and so we are looking for a new home for him where he will be able to be loved and just live life as a horse. Note that we had to put a price in the box, but we are willing to let him for the cost of trailering as long as we know he will be cared for.
