Remi is a 16hh 5yo OTTB who has been off the track since November of last year. He has been ridden a handful of times both English and western style as well as lunged over jumps. Remi has no buck, rear, bolt, etc. (but of course is a horse and things happen). He learns quickly and takes everything in stride! He has a ton of personality and loves to look around but when it’s time for work he knows it! Good around dogs, cats, pigs, goats. Overall a pleasure!... (read more)

Great on the trailer and self loads. Stands in the crossties. Wonderful for the vet and farrier.

He has done these things since the track:
Been ridden english and western
Been on a trail ride
Learned to lunge
Learned to stand quietly at the mounting block
Standard ground manners
Learned how to trot and canter over poles

The downside:
Remi has a small bone cyst in his front left knee.
The upside:
After getting the vet out to x-ray it we have come to the conclusion that it shouldn’t ever bother him and may go away on its own! He has never been off on it either!
