Simon is a 14yo 15.2h QH gelding. This is quite possibly the easiest horse we have had around in a while. In the barn he stands like a statue all day for absolutely anything. He adores kids and he loves to be groomed and loved on. In the ring he has three of the easiest gaits ever, his canter is so smooth. He rides english and western and is so adjustable. He has a good whoa and easy neck rein. He has been to many local and 4-H shows over the years being shown by all levels of riders.... (read more) From english to western, ranch and games classes he has done it all. He has the type of canter that can teach even the youngest and most beginner riders how to canter. He would be an asset to any lesson program or to any family. He jumps around a cross rail course easily and his changes are well started. He rides out of the ring too, he will lead or follow and is traffic and dog safe. He crosses water, bridges and more. He came to us shedding weird, thin and a little beat up from being turned out in a big herd with some mean horses, he is the low man in turnout. He is gaining weight and healing nicely and is now ready to find his forever home. He currently has 4 shoes on but can easily go with less. He has no vices or maintenance. Don't look past him because he is a diamond in the rough right now, look by that and see his amazing personality and training, he won't dissapoint you.
