Here is a rare gem of a horse that we have the privilege to showcase. This is Shiner, a 2019 AQHA Perlino gelding that stands 15.2 hands tall. His registered name is Hollywood Gonnashine. There is not a day that goes by that he would not put a smile onto your face. He is a beautiful perlino color with his two striking blue eyes and golden mane and tail. He was purchased from the farm where he had been since he was a yearling. He is very easy to ride and knows a lot.... (read more) He is soft in the bridle and has a great neck rein. Shiner has been so fun to take through our program and we have had him at several different places and each time he comes off the trailer and settles right in. He has one of the smoothest jogs and lopes around and holds his gait without you having to remind him all the time. He was used for a summer for some fun roping events and loved the excitement. He knows how to spin, slide, and sidepass and rides the same inside or outside the arena. He has been ridden both western and english and is so fun to ride bareback because he is so smooth and quiet. Shiner has been on lots of trail rides at a bunch of different places. He does great in a large group and he has the confidence to lead the group, but does not have to and will happily ride in the middle or the end. He will even ride off away from the group without causing any issues. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride him and he does great for the farrier. He will stand quiet in the crossties and wait patiently for you to groom and tack him. He has been tied to a trailer at events and does not make a fuss. He does not have any bad habits in the stall or out in the pasture and he will come running to you when you call him in from the pasture. Shiner is a horse that does not have to be in a certain program for him to be a fantastic boy for you. He can sit for days and weeks and come out the same level headed horse that he always is. He loves attention and loves his people and enjoys that pat on the neck or the occasional head hug from you. He is a horse that any level of rider will do well with.
