**Friendly Gelding Seeking His Special Human: Remington**

Remington, our handsome Appaloosa/Paso Fino Cross gelding.
Quiet personality and a blend of desirable traits, he's sure to capture your heart.

Remington is well-mannered both on the ground and in the saddle.

- **Herding Behavior:**
He falls within the medium to low range in the herd hierarchy.
- **Gaits:** Remington boasts a quick and smooth walk, and he's naturally gaited.... (read more)
He previously was cold-backed,(he hasn't had an issue in over a year) taking your time during saddling ensures his comfort. :)
- **Sweet and Sensitive:** Remington loves treats and approaches the gate eagerly when it's mealtime or to just say hello.

- **Noise Tolerance:** He's accustomed to nearby gunshots, so helpful when riding or grooming.

- Although infrequent, he may be a tad nervous during catching and haltering. However, this behavior has improved significantly! (Hasn't been issue due to feeding treats or food)

- Remington is not recommended for children due to his sensitivity. He requires a rider who can read horses well and apply appropriate pressure.

That being said he is gentle and careful with his ground manners.

Remington's quick recovery rate and natural gait makes him an excellent choice for trail riding.
- Whether exploring dirt roads or arenas, he'll keep up with ease.

-Although some registries have changed ownership or closed, Remington was once triple registered. Consider registering him as a Walkaloosa or Singlefoot horse. His Spanish Jannet (Tiger horse) registry no longer exists.

- He's barefoot and has coggins.

**Reason for Sale:**
- With seven horses and homeschooling, I find it challenging to give Remington the attention and riding he deserves.
Winter feed costs too, re-priced to sell.
