Poco, a registered quarter horse came to us on July 20th, 2023. Upon getting him we soon found out that he had EPM. He was treated with one round of Marquis. According to our vet, he is 90% better and conformationally sound. We believe that he has some stiffness throughout his body which sometimes causes him to act up. He would be a good project horse for an experienced rider who has the time and patience to bring him back to full health. He has tendencies to sometimes stall out.... (read more) Unfortunately, he does not work for our beginning rider program. We hope to find him a safe home. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and shoeing. He ties, trailers, bathes, good with the vet, he’s sometimes difficult to shoe behind.
