We bought Melody in December in very rough shape. At the time she was driving on the road despite having pneumonia and founder. She has some special needs, but is extremely sweet and gentle. LOVES people, comes up to everyone and enjoys attention.

We are still rehabbing her the founder and she continues to make progress. She has started being refreshed for riding and is doing really well at the walk and is willing to trot despite seeming rusty.... (read more) safe for leadline riders. It seems like she will be willing to do more especially with time and possibly take your leadliner up to trotting around, but she isn’t going to be able to do heavy work. She wears front boots for riding and needs a drylot. She is being turned out with a muzzle for some morning hours as well.

GREAT home is a must. She’s a gem and a unicorn and will make some small kids very happy. Farrier references will be checked and you must have experience with EMS/Founder.
