This is Samual, he is 7 years old and stands about 15 Hands he has a beautiful nice stocky confirmation and is literally like a dog! Samual is ¼ Gypsy Vanner and ¾ fox trotter so that makes him and his gaits super smooth! Sam is so beautiful and the people who have seen pictures and then seen him person say how pictures do not him any justice! He is extremely pretty and when you meet him his personality and incredibly calm sweet loving demeanor is truly incredible especially for his young age!... (read more) He is, in your pocket, easy to catch in fact you can’t beat him off with a stick lol, he is easy to load, great with his feet, stands tied, stand to mount from either side and owned and mostly ridden by a 72-year-old man and kiddos. Sam has been ridden by little ones a lot, however he has been off the last year which is why he and his best friend of 6 years Peninnah are being sold,(she is online also) their owner is getting older, they live completely off grid, and the grand kids all live out of state, so the horses had not been being ridden and were wasting away in the pasture. We will be riding them extensively and getting them back in riding shape over the next couple of weeks and will post more videos as we get them. The video link below is less then 24 hours after we picked them up from their home of 6 years and fresh in a brand-new place. Sam stood like a gentleman without even being tied to be saddled, never offered to do anything ugly at ALL and all the kids we had at the house were begging to ride him and after spending a short amount of time with him I felt good about them climbing all over him as you can see in the video link attached below. He is a dream, he has been primarily ridden in the hills, trails, and in rough country and we will be taking him to town and riding him more extensively to ensure he’s as safe out in the world as he is on trails. I anticipate he will be just as gentle. He is for sale now, but I would like for my riders to have a couple weeks riding him just to get him back in shape a bit and make sure we have the time to get to know him well enough to place him with his right family! His owner said he sent him to a trainer when Samual was 2.5 years old for 90 days and the trainer stated that Sam was just born broke because from the first time, he was ever ridden he never tried to buck or do anything silly it was just showing him the ropes and what to do! This guy is truly one of a kind and I don’t believe he will last long, not only is he gorgeous but he’s a genuine gentleman who is safe, calm and one of the most affectionate horses you’ll ever meet! He’s a pleaser and just wants to do what he’s suppose to and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body! He’s laid back, has more whoa then go and will make someone a great trail companion! He rides double, with saddle bags, bareback, in a halter and lead rope or with a snaffle, he is super soft and easy to handle! Call or text for more information and we can personally deliver him for a fee. Thank you for checking out Sam and have a blessed day! (918) 640-0219

I specialize in family safe, trail, ranch, ride to town dog like, loving horses! I was born into riding but only rode horses that family members had until my parents bought me my very first horse when I was 8 years old. That is when my horse story really began.
I was given the nickname “Ellie Mae” when I was very young due to my deep love for all God’s critters the cute and furry to the creepy crawly one’s, but most of all for horses!... (read more)
I have had countless injuries and hospital visits caused from the many different horses I had growing up that were marketed or portrayed to be
“Kid Safe" "Bombproof" “Grandma Safe”
If we get to meet, you’ll see at least a few of the scars I ended up with from those “Safe” horses because they are on my face…….
I have many more scars and have broken or fractured every limb at least once, broken ribs, dislocations, concussions, tailbone broken multiple times, back and neck injuries that are still with me and cause me a lot of pain to this day.
Starting out my parents did the best they knew to do and believed people when they claimed the horses were safe for me, we didn’t have a lot of money and they didn’t have the years of experience needed to know the difference or what to look for that truly makes a good “Safe Family Horse”
My goal is ALWAYS to match the right horse or horses with the right level of rider, to ensure the horses have good forever homes and my buyers are extremely happy and are as equipped as possible with everything they and their horse needs for their forever success and happiness with their new family! I sell multiple horses to families that I pair or fit together who ride well together, get along with each other etc.
I also sale saddles and the tack you’ll need that will properly fit you and your horse, if you don’t have it so you are 100% ready to go ride once you get them home! If you have found a horse for sale with someone else that you like but are unsure if it will actually be a good match for you, I will personally travel to look at and ride the horse for you after getting to know you and will let you know if it will be a good match. I want to see people enjoy good horses and if I can help prevent a bad situation by providing advice, I am happy to help! Just because someone has been riding all their life or has been selling horses, has a horse for sale they have had for a while doesn’t technically qualify them to know if that horse is truly a beginner safe or family safe type horse. As previously mentioned, it takes years to be able to identify things and can be extremely dangerous to purchase from someone who isn’t a trained professional in the specific type of horse you are looking for! It is especially important that you are experienced and know what to look for or that you purchase from someone experienced, reputable and honest because one bad horse could cost you more than you ever want to imagine.
Be cautious in your search and please do not hesitate to call or text me if there is anything I can help you with. EVEN, if that means that you don’t purchase a horse from me! I mean that genuinely! Most of my customers are complete beginners and the majority are over the age of 65 and quite a few have even become close friends, a few of them even insist on being bonus grandparents to my young children, which I LOVE!
It breaks my heart to hear the stories of those who have been deceived like me and my family who ended up hurt or taken advantage of! So, I am here today with over 30 years of experience and the scars to prove it and so excited to help you find you or your families perfect match! Thank you all for checking out our page!
I am happy to provide references, as I genuinely strive to be as honest as I possibly can about each horse that I sell to ensure the ever-inspiring happiness of not only the buyer but for the horses as well. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you make your dreams come true!
Sincerely, the owners and staff here at Outwest 777 Ranch Where “Family Safe” is our SPECIALTY
