This 14 year old double registered RMHA/KMSHA mare is for sale because I think her present owner has lost her mind. I keep telling her she will not find another with the training and disposition. So buy this fantastic mare before she changes her mind.
Savannah is 14.2 hands with a well put together confirmation and great feet. Barefoot, long glorious mane that of course if not brushed will have fairy braids, but they come right out. She is pastured with a gelding now that is pushy, and she just walks away.... (read more) As all mares, can give you the ears but it is all bluff.
Smooth gaits, canter is a bit rusty to the left but is there. She side passes, neckreins, and has been working on dressage movements. She has been trailered all over central Florida and trail ridden just about every trail around. She is the same horse whether ridden every day or once a month.
Ties single or cross ties as well as some ground tie, loads well, single, straight and slant load, ramp, no ramp.
Her gait is smooth if you are a relaxed rider. If you squeeze and hold on, she will actually pace or trot a bit. But just bump the bit and kiss her up and she will be a solid citizen. Want to slow down, just say walk and relax, she is right with you. Not a forward but not a horse you are begging to go.
I can kiss and she will move right out. NOT A SPEED HORSE..can meander on the trail, or step up to a slow rack, speed up to a faster rack, or go into a canter.
