Our little Miss Sunshine is an adorable 5 year old 13.0 Hand beautiful palomino Quarter pony mare with the sweetest personality and she acts like a gelding and man is she cool! She is very gentle and friendly and has been used for riding lessons over the past year. This confident pony has logged numerous miles out on the streets and trails and streets and has seen just about everything along the way. She is quiet minded and sure footed to ride out anywhere.... (read more) In the arena Sunshine has a good one hand neck rein, takes her leads and stops to the word whoa. Backs and side passes with ease as well. Very solid and safe to ride in urban environments from fast passing vehicles of every kind to bicycles, neighborhood dogs, to farm animals and heavy equipment. She’s been rode on the streets with horse drawn buggies and carriages as well. This little powerhouse is outstanding to ride out on our steep mountain trails and is as sure footed as a mountain goat. She is brave and confidently crosses creeks, the river and downed timber. Will ride quietly in any position of a group whether leading, following or riding drag. She’s equally content to be out on her own. Sunshine is an absolute pleasure to trail ride and handles adult sized rides with ease. She’s also trained to lay down to get on and off of her. She has had a rope swung off of her and has roped and dragged the barrel. This is a super cool pony that has so much going on for her. Gets along turned out with all other horses and will always be the first one to walk up to greet you ready and willing for whatever you have planned. Sunshine has no bad habits or vices. Good to tie, tack, bath, shoe, load and stands quiet at the tie rail and hauls like a dream. 100% safe, sane and sound. Not many like her! Sold! Sorry you missed her.
