This is "DEPUTY", a really cool and unique Rocky Mountain Paint gelding that is beginner safe and family friendly. He is cool and confident when trail riding and super honest and quiet. This gelding has been a family horse his whole life and has been ridden by children, neighbors, mom, dad, and grandma. He is safe and there are no tricks or surprises. He is not spooky, he is traffic safe, and he will courageously ride out alone with no fuss.... (read more) He is sure footed, naturally gaited, has a nice canter, and a solid stop. He stands to mount from either side and is very civilized with excellent ground manners. He is a handy size at 14.3 hands tall and he is 14 years old. Children and beginners can catch, tack, groom, and mount him with no issues. He will ride off quietly with no hump and no buck. He's a really great horse to have around for anyone to get on and enjoy a no hassle type of ride. He is uber user friendly and loves people.
