‘White Lightning’ or ‘Sparky’ to his friends is looking for his next home! Sparky is a coming 3-year-old (July 2024) Draft Cross and an absolute doll of a fella. He has had a ton of work and desensitization. He has about 10 rides on him and will be ridden daily until sold.... (read more)

Carefully started and well handled since the age of 4 months, Sparky has a puppy dog personality and is eager to please. He looks to engage with his rider. Sparky enjoys being handled and trained. He thrives on connection and truly wants to be a best friend. Sparky is currently learning liberty work along with being started under tack. Stands well for farrier, lunges, long lines, ties, loads, bathes and professionally eats cookies.

He’s been trained by a 12-year-old horse kid who has spent tons of time playing with him. He has virtually no spook and is very patient and kind. The kid decided to teach Sparky to lie down and he picked it up immediately. Sparky has been ridden bareback around the field with no halter on and he just takes it all in stride. Sparky has now been started under saddle and is learning the basics. He has been walked through the fields, around the pond, and by the ducks and geese. Sparky does it happily with not a care in the world. Although young, Sparky is everything one could want in a horse. Good bone, a great mind, and a big heart - and is always wanting to please. This horse is destined to be your next heart horse. He is certainly the type of horse that would thrive learning a variety of things and could easily learn to be anything you would want - He is versatile and fun.
