“Chex” is his barn name. Talk about a tank of horse here he is. He is truly a family horse. He is very calm and easy going. He has the best personality and wants to be loved on. He loves to be brushed on and given treats. He will meet you at the gate. He is very easy to catch, handle and be around. Chex will get you noticed wherever you take him.

Chex has been at the Missouri state university for their lesson program. He’s had reining training years ago and a little refresher he will pick it back up. He’s been rode by all levels of riders and been on many trail rides. He will stand tied to groom, tack and get on. He is easy to bathe and loads with no problems. Chex will cross logs, creeks, ditches, water with no problems. You can put him in the front, middle, or rear in a pack on a trail and he doesn’t care. Chex is a one handed neck rein, stops at whoa, backs up, side passes, and W/T/C. He has a western pleasure smooth little trot to him. And he will step right out of a walk to the nicest lope. He’s one you can relax on and enjoy your trail ride. If you're looking for a big gentle gelding don't miss out on Chex! You won’t be disappointed to have him and one the whole family can enjoy.
