Sadly selling my 16H, 13 year old bay Brazilian bred thoroughbred gelding. He is for sale through no fault of his own. Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with cancer and have been through chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. I bought him directly from his trainer so he has not been passed around. He retired sound and has never taken an off step. I have kept him barefoot. He has been sitting while I waited to establish if I would be able to ride again.... (read more) I will not. He loads well and ships well, Stands for the farrier, Is good with the hose and clippers. I used him to trail ride both alone and in groups. He was also used by my grand children who were true beginners when they started with him. He has never offered to buck or rear. His price reflects that will need a tune up. A friend did ride him, however, without incident after a year of sitting. Anyone wlling to spend a little time with him will have a wonderful horse. He is very sturdily built so he can handle men easily. He is handled daily as he comes and goes from turnout. He is also an easy keeper for a thoroughbred. He is easy to catch and leads well. He does prefer not to be stalled for great lengths of time. He's truly a nice horse. Serious inquiries only please as I am unable to participate in showing him.
