(read more) Cruze is always quiet, gentle, and easy to handle on the ground and on his back. His ground manners are impeccable, always being sweet and respectful. He is your model citizen gelding all the way around. He stands quiet as a church mouse to groom, bathe, tack up, and mount up. He will side pass over to the mounting block or fence to pick you up. Cruze is beginner-friendly, very tolerant, and unbothered by mistakes or miscues. He’s never anxious or worried about different places or new situations.
Cruze has a solid foundation and lopes soft collected circles and has a supple face and ribcage. He has excellent spins, stops, and side passes. He steers great with a one-handed neck rein and stays between the reins. Wherever you point him, he goes. Cruze is a very graceful and elegant mover. He has the smoothest, most comfortable, and easy-to-sit gaits. He has a smooth walk, trot, and canter. Cruze looks stunning under an English saddle and has Western dressage written all over him. We have started him over small jumps and obstacles, and he loves it. He never says no and will cross anything in his path. Cruze will take care of his rider at all times. He was shown by a 4-H rider all last year and even went to fair. All the rides and loud noises didn’t bother him a bit. He has also been to multiple clinics and various locations. He’s not spooky or watchy in any way. He is very sure-footed and knows where his feet are at all times. Cruze would make a great ranch horse with his calm demeanor and willingness to work. We have taken him to sortings and pen roped on him, and he does fantastic with everything. Cruze is accustomed to heavy traffic, bicycles, motorcycles, loud gunfire, crazy dogs, blowing tarps, and heavy machinery. Cruze is always a pleasure to ride in the arena, on the trails, or anywhere on the farm. We are proud to offer such a nice gelding. For more information, contact Dayton at our phone number!
