Diva is an 18-20 vet aged ottb. She sat at a farm in a field for about 7 years with a mare and a gelding and she was the boss. I got her in a bit of a rescue situation, got her updated on everything, teeth, feet, deworming, vaccines. I don’t have room for her as I have three senior pasture pets already. She is sound and rideable, but needs a refresher. Not for a beginner. She rode best with a pasture mate, but would also enjoy just being a pasture pet.... (read more) She’s not cuddly or super lovely but easy to handle for someone with a little bit of experience. She lived outside 24/7 with my herd of 5 and was middleman, tied to eat. Now she is currently babysitting a boarders mare so she comes in at night. Is a bit of a weaver if you have a busy barn. My is pretty quiet so I only notice her weave as I bring horses in they she quiets down. Not the best conformation, doesn’t like her mane pulled, and has a chunk of hair missing from her tail as it was so severely matted and full of burs I saved what I could. Same reason her mane looks a little rough. It’s hair it grows back. Please call or text me 6099491250 if your interested or want to come meet her. I want her to have a good home, and do realize she’s a lot of work as an older mare if you want a riding horse. I didn’t know her age when I agreed to take her I was told she was 10-12 and thought maybe she could make a lesson horse or a quick resale project as I’ve had a few. I will take offers for her but no I’m not giving her away. I don’t want to see her at an auction or mistreated.
