udascity is a 2014 bay Arabian gelding standing around 14.3h, and he is finally ready to find his place.
In 2018, my close friend was notified by Sound Equine Options about a basically untouched 3 yo stud in a barn that had been abandoned 2 weeks prior and she promptly snatched him up. Since then, she had him professionally started and then rode him a couple times a year. November of last year I picked him up from her and started putting consistent rides on him, from trail riding, to OHC’s Extreme Mountain Trail, to arena ranch style work, to just tottling around.... Mikey can ride one handed or two, in a snaffle or a curb. He be weird about his ears at times so I bridle him slow. Not recommended for a complete beginner. Classic Arabian tactics. No buck or rear. His spook is normally a stop, look, and backup. That being said, he has been on a number of trail rides, where he loves to walk out and take in the scenery, or canter along the tree line with his buddies. He loves the trails and remains levelheaded and incredibly responsive to his rider.
With additional training, Mikey could excel on the AHA circuit in the Ranch Versatility classes at local and regional levels, or on the open circuit. He would be a great horse for a teenager to mess around OHSET or 4H with, or for someone to just enjoy riding around. Mikey also has the potential to be conditioned for endurance.
Good ground manners, stands tied, lunges, and clips. Barefoot and sound, utd on feet, vaccinations, and worming. Unphased by new locations. Coming due for teeth and possibly a chiropractic. Good stalled or on pasture, can go out with other horses.
Priced mid fours.
