This is "GENUINE JODEY", a very well trained seasoned RED ROAN RANCH GELDING that is very broke. He is registered with the AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE ASSOCIATION. He is 15 hands tall and 9 years old. He is well bred and a grandson of SMART CHIC OLENA on the top side with GENUINE DOC on the bottom side. He is the right size, the right color, and has all the sense you want in a horse. He is civilized and very honest. He has been used for all aspects of ranch riding by a man and his wife in their 70's.... (read more) This nice gelding will one hand neck rein and turnaround when asked to do so. He is good to work around, he lopes nice circles, catches his leads, does lead changes, and stops hard on whoa. He will back up, side-pass, and you can open and close gates off of his back. He is a super nice horse to have around to hop on and not have to worry about anything. There is not silly or funny business at all. No hump, no cinch, no buck, and no aggravation. Just hop on him and go do whatever job needs done or enjoy a leisurely trail ride through the woods. He is extra courageous and brave when out alone in the woods. He is not spooky and not nervous. He unloads and rides off in new territory as if he has been there many times before. He is the kind of horse that makes you feel confident and safe.
