If you’re looking for an all around prospect - this is your guy. He has the ultimate pedigree, brains, and agility to go in any direction.

“Elmer” has seen the sights all over Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. He’s been on many field trips through the mountains, river bottoms, and more. He crosses through water, over logs, through thicket, on trail, off trail, pretty much anything!... (read more) We’ve used him to push cows and steers. He will eat a cow up. You do not have to push him to one, he naturally wants to work one himself. He is super soft in the face, has a natural stop, and works well off of leg cues. We’ve done all of his training from the ground up and he’s never offered to buck.

This guy is as gentle as they come. You can crawl, rub, jump all over him and he will stand there with his head down. Not much bothers him. He’s easy to catch, saddle, bathe, everything. Stands great for the farrier, has good feet, and currently stands barefoot. He is 100% SOUND.
